A local shop that picks up the phone.
Founded by Troy Plotkin, Kimo Metal Works started with one welding rig and a simple rule: show up when you said you would, and build it right the first time. Today our Design District shop handles everything from a single bracket to full structural packages.

From sketch to steel in four steps
Consult & measure
We review drawings or visit the site, take field measurements and talk through budget and finish.
Written estimate
A line-item proposal with materials, schedule and payment terms — usually within 48 hours.
Shop drawings & fabrication
You approve the drawings, then we cut, fit, weld and finish in our Ash Street shop.
Install & walkthrough
Our crew installs, cleans up and walks the job with you before final invoice.

What areas do you serve?
We're based in the Design District at 1002 Ash Street and work throughout Dallas–Fort Worth, including Irving, Garland, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Grand Prairie and Mesquite. Projects outside DFW are reviewed case by case.
How do I get a quote?
Use the estimate form on our Contact page, email developer@kimometal.com, or call 972-815-2588. Attach drawings, photos or rough measurements. Most quotes are returned within two business days.
Do you work from engineered drawings?
Yes. We fabricate from stamped structural drawings and can produce shop drawings for approval. For residential work we can help you get to a buildable design.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry general liability and workers' compensation coverage and can provide a certificate of insurance on request before work begins.
